Success, sort of.

Well, I had a successful shopping trip – mostly. I grabbed two pairs of shorts, which I am returning. I knew before I even picked them up off the rack that I’d be returning them. I hate shorts. I always have. I wear pants through summer, sometimes you’ll catch me in capris if it’s 250° outside. Tank tops, camis, rib tanks, t-shirts, etc? You bet. Shorts? No.

I picked up a cute tank top with tiny ruffles around the neckline and armholes, a pair of jeans that fits pretty well, a henley t-shirt from Old Navy, a pair of high-waisted jeans that do fit but not as flattering as I’d like so those are going to the back of the closet until I get into better shape, two new bras, and two pairs of Old Navy flip-flops in dark pink and a nice medium brown/bronze color.

I spent $49. Pretty good if I do say so myself.

I think the Old Navy flip flip sizes are off this year… I wear a size 7-1/2 or an 8 shoe. I had to buy size 9 flip flops, they were all so tiny. Usually I buy the 8’s. I know my feet didn’t grow, because all my shoes fit, old and new. Strange.

I tried on a pair of those “Rock Star” jeans at Old Navy. I usually have a terrible time finding jeans that fit, but these actually fit. If I wasn’t still so fat I’d have paid the $39.50 for them.
